Sany launches new crane

Sany has launched a 100 tonne capacity telescopic boom crawler crane, the SCC8100TB, at the ConExpo show in the US. It has a 47.5 m five section, full power boom with a pair of single stage double acting extension cylinders. To save weight and increase capacity a synthetic fibre rope is used instead of a wire one inside the boom on the extension and retraction system.
